The name Lizarrán comes from the word meaning ash forest. It is also the name of a chain of bars throughout the country that offer magnificent tapas in the style of north- east Spain. It was opened in October 2000 and is owned by Eduardo and Paco García. In honour of the origins of its name, the establishments provides tapas, such as Txistorra (Basque type sausage), Txacatún (made with crab) and dishes like sirloin steak.

    You may want to try and enjoy the traditional and authentic Txistorra at Lizarran restaurant. They also have Live music during weekends!  Fantastic food, perfect ambience, great location and they also a bar and a lounge around the corner. nofollow
