Classical Castillian tavern situated in the traditional Plaza de Puerta Cerrada. Slightly deceiving since at first glance it looks like a normal bar - go left past the tapas- takers at the bar and on to the comedor or restaurant proper. Specialities include pisto manchego (similar to ratatouille) as a starter, lomos de buey (tender ox steaks) and filete de merluza (hake fillets). Casa Paco has an excellent reputation amongst Madrileños, so be prepared to eat (and pay) well.
