Pachá theatre, lying in the city centre, is the cult disco of Madrid's nightlife. Teatro Barceló has always been an essential reference point for having fun in Madrid. It was built in 1930 by the architect Gutiérrez Soto, who that year won the National Architecture Award. In 1980, the interior of the venue was altered, scrupulously respecting the façade, and fitted out as a disco for shows, fiestas and presentations.
